What Is It Made From?
Eco Animal Bedding is made from perfectly clean, 100% recycled, food grade quality corrugated cardboard that is processed by a full air flow breaker, dust extractor system. This system removes the dust, chips and bags the cardboard under high air pressure into 20kg bales. When managed correctly, corrugated cardboard can be more economical to use than many other traditional bedding materials.
Virtually Odour Free
Eco Animal Bedding is easy to store, light to work with and is highly absorbent, holding up to three times its own weight in water. The corrugation provides channels for fluids to flow through to the floor allowing absorption from the bottom up - greatly reducing ammonia levels and creating a virtually odour free environment. Corrugated cardboard bedding doesn't break down into dust with use and is easier to handle when bedding down and mucking out.

Yearling And Show Preparation
When preparing yearlings for sale, it is essential that the stable bedding that is used is both dust free and not utilized as a source of substitute fodder.
Straw, while it is easy to manage, is often eaten by the horses and this can then present problems with nutrition especially if the horses substitute it for prepared rations. Eco Animal Bedding, while not harmful if consumed, is not palatable to the horses so they are not tempted to substitute it for their ration. As Eco Animal Bedding is highly absorbent, it reduces the ammonia fumes and the droppings and wet bedding are easily cleaned.
