EquiTerr®
System For Professional Riding Yard And Paddock Anchorage
Riding yards, paddocks, lunge circles etc. generally require major investments of money and labour that
are worth protecting for the long-term. EquiTerr® is not simply a plastic panel, but offers a mature installation concept which has proven its qualities
over many years. EquiTerr® is a permanently elastic floor panel and was specially developed to create a stable and non-skidding surface for riding and
exercise areas of all types.
An area created using EquiTerr® is permanently capable of fulfilling its function, even during periods of sustained moist weather conditions. Even during winter, it is largely capable of taking riding. In addition to stabilising the substructure, EquiTerr® fulfils a further important precondition for optimal soil conditions: the EquiTerr® panel separates the substructure from the layer taking the impact of the hooves, thus preventing the mixing of the different materials. Surfaces anchored using EquiTerr® exhibit the best conditions for necessary but modest expenditure on maintenance.
Championship quality external areas with optimal riding potential are able to satisfy even highly exacting requirements and are a guarantee of success for your events, whatever the weather. There is universal demand for the horses to be kept in a style befitting the species. Daily riding out and/or free roaming in the paddock maintains the health of your horses. System For Horse Stable Flooring
EquiTerr® is the ideal flooring structure for a horse stable as it offers excellent support and durability, and coupled with Eco Animal Bedding provides the perfect
flooring.
The flooring is very easy to install - just 4 simple steps:
- Lay a 2-8 inch sub-base of drainage material, such as crushed rock and a levelling layer.
- Lay EquiTerr® panels on sub-base.
- Fill panel cells with additional drainage material. Be sure to overfill so you can't see the pavers and always use clean stone. No stone dust or fines.
- Add desired bedding and you're done!!
Advantages
- Stalls with the EquiTerr® system have been in use for nearly thirty years working as well as they did when just installed.
- Laid on a bed of coarse gravel and filled with fine limestone chips, the interlocking honeycomb EquiTerr® structure creates a multi layered drainage system that allows urine to drain from the surface, keeping your horse dry and clean in the stall.
- With this rapid drainage system, you will have less wet bedding to remove and less waste to dispose of. Even if you don't factor in the time you'll save cleaning stalls, the money you will save on bedding will pay for the EquiTerr®.
- Unlike stall mats, EquiTerr® becomes a permanent part of your structure, requires no maintenance and will never need to be replaced, there is no need to worry about horses damaging the EquiTerr®
- When installed on the gravel bed, EquiTerr® is capable of withstanding loads up to 100,000 lbs per sq. ft.
- Your horse can paw or pace in his stall with no effect on the EquiTerr®.
- Unlike rubber mats, EquiTerr® does not distort or pull up.
- Since EquiTerr® is the component that supports the horse's weight, the gravel drainage layers are never compacted and, as a result, drain as well after thirty years of use as they do the first day.
- EquiTerr® remains permanently level and dry. Once the manure is picked the stall will be odor free, making spraying for flies generally unnecessary.

Grass Securing Honeycomb
Features
Nature-friendly soil anchorage - seals, greens, can be driven over.

Product Details
The special connection system and built-in overlap allow the sections to interlock and prevent displacement caused by temperature changes. The sections can only be laid in an interlocking arrangement, thus maximising the stability of the surface. The sections can be supplied with or without moulded ground spikes depending on the purpose for which they are used. An installation bed of approx. 3-4 cm is required if using ground spikes. The recesses on the underside allow an almost unimpeded flow of rainfall over the entire surface.
Installation
Beginning with the first row, connect the sections at the short ends. It is advisable to lay a batter board to aid alignment and to keep the row in position.
Then start the second row with a half section and continue fitting half sections in an interlocking arrangement. The third row can be started with a whole section and then the next row will start with a half section again, and so on.
Despite the porosity of the material, the infill cannot migrate down through the grid. The grid cannot flush out its contents.

The new special element for fixing road verges and driving lanes
The problem:
Road verges that are driven over present a safety risk and require considerable maintenance expenditure.
The solution:
RoadEdgePave is an anchorage panel specially developed for this problem area.

RoadEdgePave is a special panel manufactured from pure-grade recycled material, for anchoring road verges and driving lanes. The lattice structure reduces transverse forces as quickly as possible as they occur. The paving employs a new type of connection system that guarantees rapid and cost-favourable laying. Through the integrated locking system, any two panels which are laid adjoining one another are mutually self-stabilising in all directions (to the side, vertically, and along the run). Similarly integrated tongue locking elements prevent displacement due to temperature fluctuations and assist with laying the paving in curve sections. Nine soil contact crosses formed on the underside give the panel a firm hold on the ground underneath.
